5 Summer Fashion Trends You Must Try

We are well and truly in the swing of Summer now and it's time to start spreading your style wings to incorporate some of summer's trendiest (and easiest) looks! We've chosen 5 of our favourite trends which are easy to wear and don't require a complete wardrobe restructure!

1. Pastels
Nothing says summer like baby blue's and dusty pink's which match perfectly with your summer dresses, linen shirts and denim skirts. For those who prefer to stick to a neutral colour palette, pastels are the perfect compromise to avoid loud and bright summery prints. Add a light pastel coloured handbag to an all white look for a sweet, effortless look that will lift your outfit into the summer realm without being too obnoxious or overbearing.

Otherwise, if you're naturally a print or colour person, try a neutral coloured bag to balance out the boldness of your outfit.

2. Belt Bags
Yep, they're still here and they aren't going anywhere soon! Belt bags, otherwise known as bum bags, have been everywhere the last few months, the only thing changing is the different ways to wear them. This summer is no exception, we are now seeing bum bags buckled neatly around the waist with a denim skirt and cute top to complete the look. We've also got the cross body look making an appearance paired with a more fitted silhouette, particularly on the top.

One of the most versatile pieces you'll have in your wardrobe, there are endless ways to wear the Amalfi belt bag, including as a simple cross-body bag or elegant clutch.

3. Bucket bags
One of our favourite bag trends is back (did it ever really leave?) and we have just the bags for it! Classically a more structured bag trend, for summer why not opt for a softer, more boho bag option as long as it still maintains the bucket shape of the trend with a sturdy base and drawstring closure.

We love the styling from our latest shoot featuring an all white jumpsuit with classic silhoutte creating a flirty and feminine look. Pair this with some nude shoes, a pair of statement earings and our gorgeous cognac Tilly bag to complete this stunning look.

If you prefer the look of the more structured bucket - try the Riley bucket bag from our sister label Adele and Rose which works perfectly with a floral dress, particuarly one with some darker hues within the print.

4. Silver
Silver is here to take over from the gold trend we were seeing last season. Although still quite daring in the eyes of many, it is a bit more understated than the gold which will hopefully encourage you to jump on and try this metallic trend.

As we are a bohemian style brand we do our best to make any trend 'boho-friendly' so for our look we have chosen to keep it sweet and girly with the silver bag being a component of the look, rather than the 'steal the show' item. A more muted silver like our Prato wallet as pictured below makes the silver an easy to wear colour that acts almost as a neutral. Pair it with a flowy printed dress for the perfect boho luxe style.

5. Box/Trunk bags
The final trend we want to talk about in this post is the box/trunk bags that have been appearing on the scene for a few seasons now. Although this trend does lie a bit outside of Cadelle's bohemian, relaxed style, it is exactly what our sister label - Adele and Rose - is all about!

This is the perfect boho-luxe look featuring the Dame box bag by Adele and Rose. This monochrome look is balanced perfectly with a maxi skirt paired with a cropped graphic tee and our cross body black bag. The look manages to combine a bohemian silhoutte created by the skirt with a more structured, chic look by adding in fitted crop and structured bag, which is further complimented by the stripe design on the skirt. All around a stunning look that hasn't lost its summer feel!
