Pantone has just released their colour of the year for 2019 and it is definitely one of our all time favourites.
This year the colour they have chosen is described as vibrant yet mellow and offering a sense of warmth encouraging connection and intimacy. Living Coral is a stunning hue from the orange/pink family, a great colour to liven up any space or outfit.
Looking towards the realm of fashion with this colour of the year in mind, we are beginning to see a more playful colour palette and trend emerging with Living Coral as the leader. This colour signifies a feeling of optimism and joy as it is a sophisticated pop of colour that remains muted enough to be worn on a daily basis.
Pantone describe Living Coral as a colour that exists organically in nature, hence the name Living Coral, but is also a stand out colour that you don't come across everyday and is therefore more memorable and exciting.
